Titanium Tools

Since we have been hiking in the Alps and collecting minerals, we have repeatedly asked ourselves: "Which tools should we use and how much can we take in our backpacks?"
That will always be a 'weighty' issue to mineral and fossil collectors. It is better to take lightweight tools up the mountain and more minerals home.
So the idea was born to build tools made of titanium - extremly strong, but very light.

Titanium is a very strong metal, but in specific gravity about half the weight of steel. This metal is also used in aerospace technology and medicine (connecting parts for wings and hangers of Airbus A380 or artificial hip joints and dental implants).

In addition, the light weight of our tools is also ideal for travelling by plane.
